Ringworm On Testicals

Aquila's just begging to be heard

The
Aquila came to Rome twice in the last three weeks they should be heard by the government. The last event of July 7 was attended by between three and four thousand people. What the earthquake are essentially asking two things: the return of 40% of the taxes suspended in ten years instead of 100% in five, as provided by Finance, and an organic law, which would also provide tax purposes, to have time certain reconstruction, nothing more than what has been done in Italy for all other earthquakes.

According to data released July 6 by the emergency management structure (SGE), the population is composed assisted after the earthquake da più di 54.000 persone.

I dati forniti dalla Protezione Civile nel marzo 2010 tell us that the private buildings completely unusable (classification E and F) in the territory affected by the earthquake are 32.1% of the total, about 22,800 to 71,302 buildings. These are then added to public buildings and cultural heritage. Only in Aquila 12,707 buildings are completely unusable. Added to these are those classified as B and C that have minor damage, but have not yet been restored.

the construction of 19 new districts, is not following the reconstruction of the city and now live on the margins of areas damaged by the quake left essentially to themselves. Many earthquakes have believed in the work of the Government, but as stated by the Mayor of L'Aquila, Massimo Cialente: «L’anno scorso, in questi giorni, a L’Aquila c’erano Carla Bruni e Michelle Obama e la città sembrava il cuore d’Italia.

How Many Troll Beads Fit On A Troll Bracelet?

L'Aquila: building without rebuilding

be a citizen after the earthquake

In those months Aquila meant to be feeling a pop in a scenario in which the protagonists were others. The citizens of L'Aquila hardly had power over their lives. Other actors who were riding on the scene: Civil Defence, the Army and the media.

The Civil Defence was so committed to protecting the earthquake victims who often forgot that he is dealing with people, certainly shaken, but capable of consent. Citizens with their rights and duties that could be responsible for their own destinies. Instead, it could consume all the help that is wanted, especially in fields where there were media there was an abundance, but no one could gather, was prevented from speaking and politics was a taboo subject. So, no meetings, no leaflets.

The army had to be there to protect the homes affected by the earthquake, but the feeling was that he was there to keep us away from a city divided into red zones and green zones, as they had been in recent years, different reasons, Genoa or Baghdad. L'Aquila was filled checkpoint were made in defense of all the red areas e i militari, soprattutto Alpini, impedivano a chiunque il passaggio.

One approach does not differ from that seen after natural disasters and many others denounced by the Dutch journalist Linda Polman in the book "The solidarity of the industry."

Good and Bad

Every tragedy needs heroes and there is no doubt that the prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi, has proved very adept at knowing how to dictate from the first hours the schedule of events. By a decree issued by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers on April 6 was declared a state of emergency and Guido Bertolaso, director of the Department of Civil Protection of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, was given the post of "Deputy Commissioner for the adoption of any measure necessary throughout the earthquake-affected '. In this way were actually ousted from the management of the immediate aftermath of the earthquake all the local authorities direct representatives of the people affected. Condemned to impotence, local governments have become symbols of standing just above the "do" government. A choice, that of the government, certainly political, but also a choice that had a strong impact of common type, which allowed an easy identification of "good" e dei “cattivi”.

[because] the prime minister [is] the main shareholder of Mediaset, the leading national publisher Mondadori and largest advertising agency Publitalia. And in a country where, according to Censis, 70% of people form their opinions through the news, be able to appoint or control of the news directors of RAI and Mediaset is to have a big advantage.

The performance of the reconstruction

Aquila Many citizens did not need to do a master's degree in journalism to fully understand the meaning of the term "misinformation." A disinformation, about L'Aquila, in the end is passed through a single word: "reconstruction". A word that evokes a return home to normal. A word, however, produced a huge misunderstanding. Because a year after the earthquake in L'Aquila, nothing has been rebuilt, but much has been built, I speak of the construction of those new town that were announced April 7, 2009 by the President of the Council and quickly became the "houses of Berlusconi." Nineteen new housing built under the plan CASE (Complex seismic sustainable and environmentally friendly) che adesso il Comune dell’Aquila, che è senza fondi, dovrà gestire fornendo collegamenti e servizi.

Salmon explains that producing a credible story, you can pass their "construction" of the facts. A communication strategy much used by television network such as Fox News and Rupert Murdoch, according to Salmon, was also used by the Bush administration to support the war in Iraq.

About L'Aquila the story told by the media in the world can be summed up in the word "rebuilding." And it was a story in which the succession of events has been marked by the Chairman of the Board, starting with frequent visits, going for the big events, as was the G8, up to the mission accomplished, mission accomplished that celebrated the inauguration of the village of Onna September 15, 2009. For many citizens of L'Aquila break the "narrative reconstruction" was only possible through the protests in recent months.

Something to learn

Given the way the information industry to operate outside of the Italian context, but the central question dell'irrisolto conflict of interest, assumes a 'other value.

Ritorniamo, quindi, a Marcos, al Brasile e all’America Latina. Just think of Brazil, where we held the first National Conference on Communication, to develop proposals for the breakup of monopolies and the end of the admixture of political power and media ownership, there they call coronel electronical . Or Argentina, where the new "Ley de Medios," commissioned by President Cristina Kirchner, breaking monopolies and states that radio and television frequencies should be allocated to public third, third to third parties for commercial and participatory media. From their experience there is much to learn.
